Anti-Pig secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for porcine (swine, pig) immunoglobulins. They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of their specified targets.
Secondary antibodies provide versatility for various detection systems such as HRP, AP, and fluorescence, and offer enhanced sensitivity through signal amplification since multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, then purified and modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to yield highly specific reagents.
