Target Information

ITGB1BP1 is a key regulator of integrin-mediated cell-matrix signaling by binding to the ITGB1 cytoplasmic tail and preventing activation of integrin α5β1 by talin or FERMT1.
It plays roles in:

• Cell proliferation, differentiation, adhesion, and migration
• Bone mineralization and angiogenesis
• Regulation of β1 integrin-containing focal adhesion dynamics
• Modulation of Rho family GTPases (CDC42, RAC1)
• Promoting AKT phosphorylation and inhibiting ERK1/2 phosphorylation via Notch pathway activation
• Enhancing MYC promoter transcriptional activity
