SERPINA5 유전자는 serine proteinase inhibitor (serpin) 초가족에 속하는 단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 조직 플라스미노겐 활성화인자(tPA)와 우로키나제(uPA)의 주요 억제제로 작용하여 섬유소 용해(fibrinolysis)를 억제합니다.
