WD repeat domain 55 (WDR55), also known as FLJ20195, is a 383 amino acid protein containing seven WD repeats and belonging to the WD repeat WDR55 family. WDR55 localizes to the nucleus and cytoplasm and acts as a modulator of rRNA synthesis, playing a central role in organogenesis.
