Target Information
UBE2W는 E1 복합체로부터 유비퀴틴을 받아 다른 단백질에 공유 결합시키는 역할을 하며, 단일 유비퀴틴화를 촉매합니다. 또한, STUB1/CHIP의 단일 유비퀴틴화를 매개하여 ATXN3의 결합을 유도하고, STUB1/CHIP 기질에 부착된 유비퀴틴 사슬의 길이를 제한합니다.
자외선 조사 후 FANCL과 결합하여 FANCD2의 단일 유비퀴틴화를 촉매함으로써 DNA 손상 경로에서 중요한 역할을 수행합니다. In vitro에서는 Lys-11 연결형 폴리유비퀴틴화를 촉매하며, 활성 부위 시스테인 잔기를 갖지 않는 RING/U-box형 E3와 복합체를 형성하여 기질의 N말단(예: ATXN3, STUB1, SUMO2)을 선호적으로 유비퀴틴화합니다.
