Target Information
CD321 (F11R, JAM-1, JAM-A)는 Ig superfamily에 속하는 세포 표면 접착 분자로, 32–41 kDa의 당단백질이다. 두 개의 extracellular Ig-like 도메인, 하나의 transmembrane 영역, 짧은 cytosolic tail을 가지며, 막에서 homodimer 형태로 조립된다. 또한 integrins 등 다른 막 단백질과 측면 결합할 수 있다.
CD321은 leukocytes, platelets, erythrocytes, stem cells, epithelial 및 endothelial cells 등 다양한 세포에서 발현되며, 세포 간 접촉을 매개한다. ZO-1 및 occludin 등 epithelial tight junction 구성 요소와 근접하여 존재하며, epithelial 및 endothelial barrier 유지, 조혈, 혈관신생, 종양 증식·침윤·전이에 관여한다.
