This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences are cloned from immunoreactive rabbits, and individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
Prolactin (PRL) is a pituitary hormone involved in milk production, salt and water regulation, growth, development, and reproduction. PRL acts through a signal transduction pathway initiated by binding to the transmembrane PRL receptor (PRLR), a member of the cytokine receptor family.
PRLR varies in size (~40–100 kDa) depending on tissue source and species and consists of:
- An extracellular region with five cysteines containing the prolactin binding site
- A single transmembrane domain
- A cytoplasmic region that influences ligand binding and regulates cellular function
