Target Information
cAMP는 다양한 세포 기능에 중요한 신호전달 분자입니다. cAMP는 cAMP-의존성 단백질 키나아제(AMPK)를 활성화하여 여러 표적 단백질의 인산화를 통해 신호를 전달합니다. 비활성 상태의 AMPK 홀로효소는 두 개의 조절 소단위와 두 개의 촉매 소단위로 구성된 사량체 형태이며, cAMP 결합 시 조절 소단위와 촉매 소단위로 분리됩니다. 인간에서는 네 가지 조절 소단위와 세 가지 촉매 소단위가 확인되었으며, 본 단백질은 그 중 하나의 조절 소단위를 암호화합니다. 활성화된 촉매 소단위에 의해 인산화될 수 있으며, 다양한 A-kinase 앵커링 단백질과 상호작용하여 AMPK의 세포 내 위치를 결정할 수 있습니다.
