They combine multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, offering the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies and the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, with the consistency only achievable from recombinant production.

While functionally similar to polyclonal antibodies—recognizing multiple epitope sites and providing higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets—Superclonal™ antibodies have a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, ensuring reproducibility across lots.

Target Information

CIS (Cytokine-Inducible SH2-containing protein) contains SH2 and SOCS box domains and belongs to the cytokine-induced STAT inhibitor (CIS/SOCS/SSI) family. These proteins act as cytokine-inducible negative regulators of cytokine signaling. Expression can be induced by IL2, IL3, GM-CSF, and EPO in hematopoietic cells. Proteasome-mediated degradation of CIS is involved in erythropoietin receptor inactivation. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
