Target Information
MRE11 (double-strand break repair protein MRE11)는 MRN 복합체의 구성 요소로, DNA 이중가닥 절단 복구, 재조합, 텔로미어 유지 및 감수분열에 핵심적인 역할을 합니다.
이 복합체는 single-stranded endonuclease 및 double-strand-specific 3′–5′ exonuclease 활성을 가지며, 이러한 활성은 MRE11에 의해 제공됩니다. RAD50은 DNA 말단을 결합하고 근접하게 유지하는 데 필요합니다.
MRE11 유전자의 돌연변이는 ataxia-telangiectasia-like disorder 1을 유발할 수 있습니다.
