Target Information
Adenosine deaminase (ADA) catalyzes the hydrolytic deamination of adenosine and 2-deoxyadenosine. It plays an important role in purine metabolism and adenosine homeostasis. ADA modulates extracellular adenosine signaling and contributes indirectly to cellular signaling events. It may act as a positive regulator of T-cell coactivation.
