The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
Neuroglycan C is a transmembrane chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan exclusively expressed in the central nervous system. Its gene expression is developmentally regulated and affected by psychostimulant addiction or nerve lesion. The core protein possesses a unique multidomain structure distinct from other proteoglycans and undergoes post-translational modifications such as phosphorylation and glycosylation. Neuroglycan C changes from a proteoglycan to a non-proteoglycan form during cerebellum and retina development, suggesting its role in neuronal circuit formation in the CNS.
