Dilpacimab은 DLL4를 표적으로 하는 바이오시밀러 항체입니다. DLL4(Delta-like ligand 4)는 Drosophila delta 단백질의 상동체로, Notch1 수용체에 결합하는 막 결합형 리간드로 작용합니다. DLL4는 혈관계에서 발현되며 혈관 발달에 중요한 역할을 합니다. VEGF에 의해 유도되어 혈관 신생을 조절하고 분화된 혈관 네트워크 형성을 촉진하는 음성 피드백 조절자로 기능합니다. DLL4는 신세포암 및 방광암의 종양 혈관에서 강하게 발현되며, DLL4 억제 시 혈관 증식은 증가하지만 성숙이 저하되어 종양 성장 감소를 유발합니다.
