Target Information
PHKG2는 phosphorylase kinase gamma sub유닛의 testis/liver isoform을 암호화하는 유전자입니다. Phosphorylase kinase는 α, β, γ, δ 4종류의 서브유닛이 각각 4개씩 결합된 복합체로 구성되며, γ 서브유닛이 효소의 활성 부위를 포함합니다. α와 β 서브유닛은 인산화에 의해 조절 기능을 수행하며, δ 서브유닛은 칼슘 농도 의존성을 매개합니다. PHKG2 유전자의 변이는 glycogen storage disease type 9C (autosomal liver glycogenosis)를 유발할 수 있습니다. 또한 다양한 isoform을 암호화하는 alternative splicing 변이체가 보고되어 있습니다.
