Target Information
NDRG2 gene is a member of the N-myc downregulated gene family, belonging to the alpha/beta hydrolase superfamily. NDRG2 encodes a cytoplasmic protein that may play a role in neurite outgrowth and may be involved in glioblastoma carcinogenesis. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described, though the full-length nature of some variants remains undetermined.
