Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
ZFP36 is a probable regulatory protein with a novel zinc finger structure involved in regulating the response to growth factors. Knockdown of ZFP36 increases both macrophage gene mRNAs and inflammatory tumor necrosis factor protein release, while overexpression decreases these levels, supporting its role in macrophage gene regulation.
ZFP36 can be phosphorylated by JNK and other MAP kinase family members. Gene expression profiling suggests its relevance in prostate cancer prognosis, and abnormal ZFP36 production may contribute to higher rheumatoid arthritis activity.
