The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
Aldolase encodes a member of the class I fructose-bisphosphate aldolase protein family. This glycolytic enzyme catalyzes the reversible conversion of fructose-1,6-bisphosphate to glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate and dihydroxyacetone phosphate.
Three aldolase isozymes (A, B, and C), encoded by separate genes, are differentially expressed during development. Mutations in this gene are associated with Glycogen Storage Disease XII and hemolytic anemia. Disruption of this gene is also linked to cancer progression. Related pseudogenes are found on chromosomes 3 and 10.
