Target Information
DR5 (Apo2, TRAIL-R2, TRICK2, KILLER)는 TRAIL에 의해 유도되는 세포자멸사를 매개하는 death domain을 포함하는 수용체입니다.
이 단백질은 TNF-receptor superfamily에 속하며, 세포 내 death domain을 포함합니다.
DR5는 TNFSF10/TRAIL/APO-2L에 의해 활성화되어 apoptosis 신호를 전달합니다.
FADD가 결핍된 마우스 연구에서 DR5 매개 세포자멸사에는 FADD 단백질이 필요함이 제시되었습니다.
두 가지 전사 변이체와 하나의 비암호화 전사체가 존재하며, DR5의 과발현은 apoptosis를 유도하고 NF-kappa-B를 활성화합니다.
DR5는 다양한 세포 유형에서 발현되며 특히 림프구와 비장에서 높은 수준으로 발현됩니다.
DR5 기능 이상은 편평세포암 및 diffuse infiltrative lymphocytosis syndrome과 관련이 있습니다.
