Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, and individual clones are screened to select optimal production candidates.

Target Information
The CD58 gene encodes a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. The protein acts as a ligand for the T lymphocyte CD2 protein, facilitating adhesion and activation of T lymphocytes. It is localized to the plasma membrane. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.
