Product Specific Information
- Tested in direct ELISA (use antibody at 2–4 µg/mL for coating).
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA-fixed samples): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- For formalin-fixed tissues: heat tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, at 95°C for 45 minutes, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
This gene encodes an enzyme involved in polyamine metabolism, essential for the salvage of adenine and methionine. The enzyme is often deficient in many cancers due to co-deletion with the tumor suppressor gene p16. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been reported, though their full-length structures remain uncharacterized.
