For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

EGFR (epidermal growth factor receptor) is a receptor tyrosine kinase that mediates signaling in response to various growth factors. Overexpression of EGFR is associated with multiple cancer types and serves as a target for biological and small-molecule therapeutics.
The EGFR gene is located on chromosome 7 in humans and belongs to the HER/ErbB family, which includes ERbB2, ERbB3, and ERbB4.
EGFR activation occurs upon ligand binding (e.g., EGF, TGF-α), leading to receptor dimerization and autophosphorylation of cytoplasmic tyrosine residues. Overexpression has been observed in tumors of the head and neck, brain, bladder, stomach, breast, lung, endometrium, cervix, vulva, ovary, esophagus, and squamous cell carcinoma.
