Target Information
ATG10은 자가포식(autophagy) 과정에 관여하는 단백질로, 세포질 내 구성요소를 리소좀/액포를 통해 분해하는 데 중요한 역할을 합니다.
자가포식소체(autophagosome) 형성에는 막의 재배열이 필요하며, 이는 두 가지 유비퀴틴 유사 변형(APG12p 결합 및 MAP-LC3의 막 결합형 변형)에 의해 조절됩니다.
APG10은 이러한 변형 과정에서 E2 유사 효소로 작용하며, ATG12-ATG5 결합 및 MAP-LC3(MAP1LC3A)의 막 결합형 변형에 필수적입니다.
ATG10 단백질은 광범위하게 발현되며, 인간의 APG10L 유전자는 염색체 5q14.2에 위치합니다.
