Target Information
Anti-Chicken secondary antibodies are affinity-purified and have well-characterized specificity for chicken immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of chicken IgY targets.
Secondary antibodies enhance assay versatility and sensitivity by enabling multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and signal amplification.
Typically, these antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) for high specificity.
