Target Information
ZO-1은 ZO-2 또는 ZO-3와 복합체를 형성하며, claudin, occludin 및 F-actin과 결합하여 세포 간 타이트 정션에서 액틴 세포골격과의 연결을 매개합니다.
ZO-1 발현은 여러 유방암 세포주에서 현저히 감소되어 있으며, ZO-2 및 ZO-3는 상피 타이트 정션 내에 광범위하게 발현됩니다.
ZO-1은 세포막의 세포간 타이트 정션 부위에 위치하며, 세포 간 신호전달에 관여할 수 있습니다.
ZO-1 유전자는 두 가지 이소폼을 암호화하는 전사 변이체를 가집니다.
ZO-1 기능 이상은 셀리악병(Celiac Disease) 및 선천성 신증후군(Congenital Nephrotic Syndrome)과 관련이 있습니다.
