Target Information
XRCC1 (X-ray cross complementing factor-1)는 DNA 염기 절제 복구(Base Excision Repair)에 관여하는 단백질입니다. 약 70 kDa의 XRCC1은 poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP), DNA Ligase III, DNA polymerase β 등 DNA 복구 효소들과 물리적으로 결합되어 있습니다. XRCC1은 BRCT 도메인을 포함하며, 이 도메인은 BRCA1 단백질의 카복실 말단에서 처음 발견되었고, XRCC1과 DNA Ligase III-α 간의 단백질 상호작용을 매개합니다.
