Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the highly conserved cyclin family, characterized by periodic changes in protein abundance throughout the cell cycle. Cyclins act as regulators of CDK kinases and exhibit distinct expression and degradation patterns to coordinate mitotic events. This cyclin shows the highest similarity with cyclin G and is expressed constantly during cell cycle progression. Its precise function has not yet been determined.
