This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned, and individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
SERPINA encodes Alpha 1-ACT, an early-stage acute-phase plasma protein and serpin that preferentially inactivates chymotrypsin, cathepsin G, and chymase. Alpha-1-ACT is a serine protease inhibitor associated with amyloid plaques in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and aged human and monkey brain. Regulation of serine proteases and their inhibitors plays an important role in neuromuscular differentiation. PSA, a chymotrypsin-like serine protease, is predominantly complexed to Alpha-1-ACT.
