Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to reach a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The second messenger cyclic AMP (cAMP) mediates diverse cellular responses such as proliferation, ion transport, metabolism regulation, and gene transcription by activating cAMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA).
Activation occurs when cAMP binds to regulatory subunits of the PKA holoenzyme, releasing active catalytic subunits. PKA translocates to the nucleus to phosphorylate CREB on serine 133, promoting transcription initiation via TFIIB binding to TBP1.
