Target Information
RALBP1 specifically activates hydrolysis of GTP bound to RAC1 and CDC42, but not RALA.
It mediates ATP-dependent transport of S-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)-glutathione (DNP-SG) and doxorubicin (DOX), serving as the major ATP-dependent transporter of glutathione conjugates and DOX in erythrocytes.
RALBP1 acts as a scaffold protein for endocytotic complex formation and interacts with CDC2 to regulate endocytosis. One known substrate is EPN1/Epsin.
