Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C, protected from light, for up to 1 week.
For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g for 5 min).

Target Information

Calcium Channel 1 is a protein encoded by the CACNB1 gene and belongs to the calcium channel beta subunit family.
It plays an important role in modulating G protein inhibition, increasing peak calcium current, controlling the alpha-1 subunit membrane targeting, and shifting the voltage dependence of activation and inactivation.
Dysfunction of this protein is associated with malignant hyperthermia susceptibility.
