Product Specific Information
This antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
NEK2 is a serine/threonine-protein kinase involved in cell cycle regulation and essential for proper chromosome segregation. It localizes mainly to the centrosome and its expression peaks during the late G2 phase. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants exist, producing isoforms with distinct C-termini. NEK2 has been associated with diseases such as Retinitis Pigmentosa 67.
