Target Information

Denintuzumab is a biosimilar antibody that targets CD19.
CD19 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily with two Ig-like domains and is expressed on 100% of peripheral B cells. It may also be expressed on myeloid leukemia cells, particularly those of monocytic lineage.
CD19 serves as a key functional regulator of B cell proliferation and differentiation, acting as a signal-amplifying coreceptor for the B cell receptor (BCR). Mutations in CD19 can cause hypogammaglobulinemia, while overexpression leads to B cell hyperactivity.
