Brontictuzumab는 NOTCH1을 표적으로 하는 바이오시밀러 항체입니다.
NOTCH1은 epidermal growth factor (EGF)-like homeotic 유전자 계열에 속하며, 세포 외부 영역에 다수의 EGF-like 반복 서열을 포함하는 막단백질을 암호화합니다.
포유류에서는 Notch1, Notch2, Notch3, Notch4(Int-3)의 네 가지 notch 유전자가 보고되었으며, 신경계 및 기타 구조의 분화에 관여합니다.
EGF-like 단백질인 Delta와 Serrate는 Notch1의 리간드로 알려져 있습니다.
성숙한 Notch 단백질은 전구체 단백질의 절단에 의해 형성된 이합체 수용체로, EGF-like 반복을 포함하는 세포외 서브유닛(NEC)과 세포막을 관통하는 세포내 서브유닛(Ntm)으로 구성됩니다.
