Target Information
Granzyme B는 granzyme serine protease 계열의 단백질로, cytotoxic T 세포와 NK 세포의 과립 내에 존재합니다. Granzyme B는 세포 활성화 후 cytotoxic T-lymphocyte에서만 발현되는 serine protease로, 표적 세포의 apoptosis 유도에 핵심적인 역할을 합니다. Mannose 6-phosphate receptor를 통해 표적 세포 내로 진입하여 caspase-3를 절단하고, caspase 연쇄 반응을 유도하여 DNA 단편화 및 세포 사멸을 유발합니다. 또한 Bid 단백질 절단을 통한 미토콘드리아 경로를 통해서도 apoptosis를 유도할 수 있습니다. Granzymes는 CTL 및 NK 세포의 특수 용해 과립 내에 저장된 중성 serine protease로, 인간에서는 일부만이 클로닝 및 확인되었습니다.
