Target Information
ENPP1 유전자는 ecto-nucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase (ENPP) 계열에 속합니다. 이 단백질은 두 개의 동일한 이황화 결합된 소단위체로 구성된 type II 막관통 당단백질이며, 다양한 기질의 인산디에스터 및 피로인산 결합을 절단할 수 있습니다. 또한 nucleoside 5'-triphosphates를 대응하는 monophosphates로 가수분해하고, diadenosine polyphosphates를 가수분해할 수 있습니다. 이 유전자의 돌연변이는 idiopathic infantile arterial calcification, ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament of the spine (OPLL), insulin resistance 등과 관련이 있습니다.
