RALBP1은 RAC1 및 CDC42에 결합된 GTP의 가수분해를 활성화하며, RALA에는 작용하지 않습니다.
ATP 의존적 수송 단백질로서 S-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)-glutathione (DNP-SG) 및 doxorubicin (DOX) 수송을 매개하며, 적혈구 내 주요 ATP 의존성 글루타티온 접합체 수송체로 작용합니다.
또한 내포작용(endocytosis) 관련 단백질 복합체 형성을 돕는 스캐폴드 단백질로 기능하며, CDC2와 상호작용하여 세포주기 중 내포작용을 조절합니다.
