Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
Adgrb1 (BAI1) is a phosphatidylserine receptor that enhances the engulfment of apoptotic cells and acts as a potent inhibitor of angiogenesis in the brain. It may mediate p53 signaling involved in suppression of glioblastoma. Adgrb1 functions in cell adhesion and signal transduction, and its expression is induced by wild-type p53. It belongs to the secretin receptor family and functions as an angiogenesis inhibitor and tumor growth suppressor. Diseases associated with ADGRB1 include glioblastoma.
