Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
PLK4 (Polo-like kinase 4) is a serine/threonine protein kinase belonging to the polo family. It localizes to centrioles—complex microtubule-based structures in centrosomes—and regulates centriole duplication during the cell cycle.
Overexpression of PLK4 can induce centriole amplification by generating multiple procentrioles per centriole, while reduced PLK4 dosage may increase mitotic errors and cancer risk.
