Target Information
The ZBED2 protein possesses a BED-type zinc finger, a 50–60 amino acid domain containing a conserved motif with aromatic residues and a cysteine/histidine pattern forming the zinc finger.
ZBED2 was identified through screening of 37 human gastric cancer cDNA libraries. Although its function is not fully known, the zinc finger suggests potential DNA or RNA binding properties.
