Target Information

PDE2A (phosphodiesterase 2A)는 약 100 kDa의 cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase로, PDE2A1, PDE2A2, PDE2A3의 세 가지 isoform이 알려져 있습니다. 이들은 alternative splicing을 통해 단일 유전자로부터 생성됩니다. PDE2A는 cAMP와 cGMP 모두를 분해할 수 있으나, cGMP에 대해 더 높은 효율을 보입니다. 주로 뇌(소뇌 및 신피질)에 발현되며, 음경 발기부전 및 내피세포 장벽을 통한 체액 및 염증세포 이동 조절과 관련이 있습니다.
