Phospho-CHK2 (Thr432) Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of CHK2 only when phosphorylated at Thr432.
Target Information
CHEK2 (CHK2) is a serine/threonine kinase involved in the DNA damage checkpoint pathway. Mutations in CHK2 are linked to various cancers. Activated by DNA damage, CHK2 phosphorylates key modulators of cell cycle control, including tumor suppressor proteins. It can also phosphorylate BRCA1, aiding in DNA damage response. CHK2 is considered a tumor suppressor, with mutations associated with Li-Fraumeni syndrome and predisposition to sarcomas, breast cancer, and brain tumors.
