Target Information
Short/branched chain acyl-CoA dehydrogenase (ACADSB)는 지방산 및 가지사슬 아미노산 대사 과정에서 acyl-CoA 유도체의 탈수소화를 촉매하는 acyl-CoA dehydrogenase 효소군의 일원입니다. 이 효소군은 기질 특이성에 따라 구분되며, ACADSB는 주로 (S)-2-methylbutyryl-CoA와 같은 짧은 가지사슬 acyl-CoA에 대해 높은 활성을 보입니다. 또한 다른 2-methyl 가지사슬 및 짧은 직쇄 acyl-CoA 기질과도 반응합니다. ACADSB cDNA는 미토콘드리아로 수입된 후 절단되어 약 43.7 kDa의 성숙 단백질을 형성하는 미토콘드리아 전구 단백질을 암호화합니다.
