Target Information
ASAP1 (Development and differentiation enhancing factor 1)은 두 개의 ANK 반복, Arf-GAP 도메인, PH 도메인, SH3 도메인을 가진 단백질입니다. ASAP1은 SRC 및 CRK와 상호작용하며, phosphatidylinositol 4,5-biphosphate (PIP2)에 의해 활성화됩니다.
ARF1 및 ARF5에 대해 PIP2 의존적 GTPase-활성화 단백질 활성을 가지며, ARF6에 대해서는 낮은 활성을 보입니다.
세포 성장 또는 액틴 세포골격 재구성과 관련된 막 수송 조절에 관여할 가능성이 있으며, 섬유아세포의 지방세포 분화 및 기타 세포 유형의 분화에도 관여할 수 있습니다.
ASAP1은 대부분의 조직에서 발현되며, 침윤성 유방암 및 기타 악성 종양(예: 포도막 흑색종)과 관련된 원암유전자(proto-oncogene)로 보고되어 있습니다.
