Target Information
Cardiac Troponin T는 조절 단백질 복합체인 트로포닌의 트로포미오신 결합 소단위로, 횡문근의 가는 필라멘트에 위치하며 세포 내 칼슘 농도 변화에 따라 근수축을 조절합니다.
이 단백질은 근육 기능과 근원섬유 형성에 중요하며, 인간 심장에서 발달 단계에 따라 네 가지 isoform이 발현됩니다.
Cardiac Troponin T 발현은 심부전 시 변화하며, 유전자 변이는 가족성 비후성 심근병증 및 확장성 심근병증과 관련이 있습니다.
해당 유전자의 전사는 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 다양한 조직 특이적 isoform을 생성합니다.
