Target Information
Endoplasmic reticulum (ER) aminopeptidase 1 (ERAP1)은 ER 내강에 위치한 120 kDa 단백질로, MHC class I 펩타이드 제시에 필요한 항원 전구체의 NH2-말단 잔기를 제거합니다. ERAP1은 9개 이상의 아미노산 길이를 가진 펩타이드를 절단하며, interferon-gamma에 의해 유도됩니다.
인간 ERAP1 유전자는 염색체 5q15에 위치하며, adipocyte-derived leucine aminopeptidase (A-LAP), puromycin-insensitive leucine-specific aminopeptidase (PILS-AP), aminopeptidase regulator of TNFR1 shedding (ARTS-1)으로도 알려져 있습니다.
A-LAP은 angiotensin II 등 생리활성 펩타이드의 불활성화에 관여하고, 혈압 조절과 관련이 있습니다. PILS-AP은 혈관신생 과정에서 내피세포 증식 및 이동 조절에 관여하며, ARTS-1은 TNFR1 결합 단백질로 TNFR1 shedding을 촉진합니다.
