Product Specific Information
This antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
DKK3, like DKK1, DKK2, and DKK4, possesses an N-terminal signal peptide and two conserved cysteine-rich domains separated by a linker region containing 10 cysteine residues each. The second cysteine region may have a lipid-binding function facilitating WNT/DKK interactions at the plasma membrane. The linker region in DKK3 contains only 12 amino acids, compared to 50–55 in other DKK family members. DKK3 is widely expressed, with highest levels in heart, brain, and spinal cord in humans, and in brain, eye, and heart in mice.
