Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the Golgi-localized, gamma adaptin ear-containing, ARF-binding (GGA) family. These coat proteins regulate trafficking of proteins between the trans-Golgi network and lysosome. They contain an N-terminal VHS domain for sorting mannose 6-phosphate receptors and a C-terminal region homologous to the ear domain of gamma-adaptins. GGA2 may play a key role in cargo regulation and clathrin-coated vesicle assembly.
