Target Information

AMPK beta 1은 AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK)의 조절 서브유닛으로, AMPK는 α 촉매 서브유닛과 β, γ 비촉매 서브유닛으로 구성된 헤테로트리머 단백질 복합체입니다.
AMPK는 세포 에너지 상태를 감지하는 효소로, 대사 스트레스에 반응하여 활성화되어 acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC)와 HMG-CoA reductase (HMGCR)를 인산화 및 불활성화시킵니다.
이 β1 서브유닛은 AMPK 활성의 양성 조절자로 작용할 수 있으며, myristoylation 및 phosphorylation 상태에 따라 효소 활성과 세포 내 위치가 달라질 수 있습니다. 또한 AMPK 복합체의 결합을 매개하는 어댑터 역할을 할 수 있습니다.
