Target Information
CD206 (MSR, Mannose receptor, MRC1)는 175 kDa의 막관통 단백질로, 패턴 인식 수용체 그룹에 속합니다. 주로 조직 대식세포, 수지상세포, 일부 내피세포 및 정자 세포에서 발현되며, 선천 및 적응 면역 반응에 관여합니다.
또한 CD206은 변형된 지질단백질, advanced glycation end-products (AGEs), amyloid β-protein (Aβ) 등의 다양한 거대분자 인식과 흡수에 관여합니다.
정상적인 역할은 세포 부착 및 숙주 방어에 관련되지만, 죽상동맥경화증 및 알츠하이머병(AD)에서의 아밀로이드 β 침착에도 연관되어 있습니다.
CD206 유전자는 class A macrophage scavenger receptor를 암호화하며, 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 3가지 isoform(1, 2, 3)을 생성합니다.
Type 1, 2 isoform은 변형된 LDL의 엔도시토시스를 매개하지만 type 3 isoform은 내부화 기능이 없어 ER 내에 머무르며, 다른 isoform의 기능을 억제하는 dominant negative 효과를 나타냅니다.
CD206 기능 이상은 나병과 고셔병(Gaucher’s Disease)과도 관련되어 있습니다.
