이 항체는 22 kDa Claudin-3 단백질에 특이적입니다. Mouse 간 및 폐 균질액, canine MDCK, human MCF-7 세포 용해액에서 Western blot으로 반응이 확인되었습니다. 또한 FFPE human 정상 결장 및 결장암 조직에서 IHC로 검증되었습니다. FFPE 조직 IHC 시에는 citrate buffer (pH 6.0)를 사용한 열 유도 epito프 회복(HIER)이 필요합니다.
Target Information
Claudin 1–8 단백질은 tight junctions와 관련된 막관통 단백질군입니다. Tight junction은 세포 간 누출 방지를 위한 분자적 개스킷 역할을 하며, 상피 세포 극성을 유지합니다. 조직별로 Claudin 조성이 다르며, 다양한 암종(유방암, 난소암, 간세포암, 요로 종양, 전립선암, 폐암, 두경부암, 갑상선암 등)에서 발현 차이가 보고되었습니다. 또한 다양한 isoform을 암호화하는 대체 스플라이싱 변이체가 존재합니다.
